SheepSoul® is a real sheep-wool lining in DASTI winter Parkas and denim jackets. The base formula is unique and patented: to the pile, with the perfect combination of density and height, we add silky fiber to make the base light, warm and pleasant to the skin. In the process of wearing a "live" SheepSoul® lining adjusts to the body's curves. The high porosity of the wool accumulates heat in each hair, and the silky fiber, combined with the parka membrane fabric, removes excess moisture while maintaining dry warmth and comfort while you wear the Parka.
The process of transforming sheep's wool into a soft and cozy SheepSoul® wool lining is a real art, which DASTI technologists developed through experiments and experiments for four years. And even though the process of creating the perfect wool base takes a lot of time, the final product - SheepSoul® - has many natural benefits.
We are proud of the quality of SheepSoul®, which is based on 100% natural sheep wool - without blends and compromises.

So how do we create our unique SheepSoul® wool lining? We tell in detail.
Every year, at the end of winter, shepherds shear their sheep using an electric tool (razor-like) that removes all the sheep's wool in one piece. The annual fleece of one sheep can weigh more than 8 kilograms, although most are usually about 4-5 kilograms. The most important priority is that the shearing process is carried out with the utmost care and does not cause any harm to the sheep. After shearing, a short pile prevents the sheep from overheating in the hot summer months and allows the animals to enjoy the heat safely.
Then there is a hygienic cleaning of raw materials, which takes place in several stages, during which dirt is removed from the wool, any contaminants, and natural fat from wool fibers. After complete processing, the raw material is ready for the next stage - straightening.
After the hygienic cleaning of wool, the fibers undergo a process of straightening and combing. Sheep's wool, by nature, is curly, and at the stage of straightening, special machines stretch the fibers through small metal teeth, which straighten the yarn and make it soft and fluffy. In straightening, the fibers are cut into thin flat pieces, eventually formed into long elongated wool sheets.
The next step is spinning. Thanks to a unique wheel, 2-5 strands of wool are twisted together to create strength. The result is long and robust pieces of wool, which we all know as yarn. At this stage, bits of wool is transformed into a material that can be further used in production.
Next, we move on to the stage of painting. When creating a SheepSoul® foundation, it is painted in a recognizable Champagne color, adding a dye of the desired shade. Wool absorbs water quickly, which makes it very susceptible to dying.
But the most important thing is that no animals were harmed during the production of the SheepSoul® substrate! After all, we try to take care of the animal world and encourage everyone to join us!
It took a lot of brain effort and time to create our product, so we decided to patent our invention to preserve its value and uniqueness. That is why we remind you that the sole and exclusive owner of the rights and patent based on SheepSoul® is DASTI. Any violation of the patent owner's rights leads to liability under the current legislation of Ukraine, Russia, Europe, and the United States.
